Where I was
Washington state. Did research for a new story.
Now it's back to work, and deadlines.
Check back Monday as I'll be posting a link to a Harlequin blog I'm doing... posting about our mountain hiking adventure AND giving away a FREE copy of my upcoming Nocturne, IMMORTAL WOLF. I received my author copies this week. Yay!

Check it out here.
I'll be going offline for a couple of weeks to relax and rest. Have a great week!

The half-naked groom...

Lookie! It's THE PANTHER AND THE PYRAMID, in Russian!
I guess this is the scene where they get married, as he's removing the veil from her face. But if she's in a wedding gown, why is he half-naked?
Oh wait, it's a John DeSalvo cover. That's why!

Look what I found!

The bottom of my desk! Yay!
I'm done! Turned in typesets for HOLIDAY WITH A VAMPIRE, turned in both Nocturne shorts that were due.
I'm done done done!
Did 3 loads of laundry, cleaned off the desk. Time to jump into the hot tub and then I'll tackle housework.
Maybe I'll take a huge glass of wine with me to celebrate!

Blurbs
Sorry all, haven't been blogging because I'm absolutely snowed under. It's been very stressful, trying to meet many deadlines on many things that have to be done now.
This is the blurb I wrote for IMMORTAL WOLF, my October. Nocturne, for the RT ad I'm running with the wonderful Lisa Renee Jones:
An immortal, Harley-riding Cajun werewolf faces his greatest challenge when he races against time to save his destined mate from being sacrificed to spare the Draicon werewolf race from her “death touch.”
This is the blurb I'd write for my life right now, for a book I'd title, MORTAL WRITER:
A frazzled author and writer faces her greatest challenge when she races against time to meet deadlines, attend daylong meetings, sort through paperwork, get her broken car fixed, and do laundry, typesets and defrost a turkey for dinner while gulping down vats of Diet Coke and Dunkin Donuts.
I promise I will blog next week when life settles down a little... I hope!
